BSc. CSIT

 The BSc.CSIT program will have eight semesters with 126 credit hours. Each semester shall have duration of 6 months (Minimum of 15 weeks to maximum of 20 Weeks). The semesters start twice each year. All the subjects carries 3 credits each. This program comprises of the following courses:

 

Thinking about the future of CSIT graduates in Nepalese as well as global IT market and in the area of Computer Science, St. Lawrence College has prepared a customized course for the CSIT students a part from the course curriculum prescribed by TU that included various career and profession oriented non-credit courses in different semester. We are sure these non-credit courses will help our graduates to get the job easily as soon as they completed this degree. However, individual interest on a particular sector will be highly motivated during the studies at St. Lawrence College. All students must register their name for all the mandatory non-credit courses and the college will register the name after charging a nominal registration fee of NRs. 2,500 in the respective semester during the time of offering such non-credit courses.

Eligibility for Admission

The candidate applying for BSc.CSIT program must have:

• Successfully completed +2/PCL inscience or its equivalent from any University, board or institution recognized by Tribhuvan University.
• Applicants are required to appear in the entrance test conducted by Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University (ISOT-TU) and should secure atleast 35% marks in order to be eligible.
• Must Secure at least 2nd divisionin the 10+2, PCL or equivalent program. Compiled with all then application procedures.
